Jeanine Castagna is an attorney with over ten years of experience in the adoption field. Her practice is devoted exclusively to adoption. Though it is a legal proceeding, adoption is emotionally charged. Ms. Castagna understands and is sensitive to the emotions involved for both adoptive parents and birth parents. She is committed to providing compassionate and proficient legal services.

Since Ms. Castagna only handles adoptions, she is intimately familiar with all New York adoption laws and the procedures necessary to ensure a successful, secure, and ethical adoption. She will assure that your adoption is properly handled, strictly in accordance with New York law, whether the child is born in New York or from outside the state.

Ms. Castagna is a fellow of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, the Adoption Committee of the New York State Bar Association, the American Fertility Association, RESOLVE, the National Infertility Network Exchange and DES Action. She is also a founding member of the Tender Loving Care Foundation.

Senator Hillary nominated Jeanine Castagna as New York's Angel in Adoption for 2008. The Angels in Adoption Program is the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s (CCAI) signature public awareness program and provides an opportunity for members of Congress to honor constituents who have enriched the lives of children.
