Carolyn Arnett, Esq., is an adoption attorney with more than fifteen years experience in the field of adoption. While her practice has always been in Kentucky, she has cooperated in numerous interstate adoptions. Because she is licensed in Kentucky, she always represents the Kentucky resident in interstate cases, and in situations with both parties in Kentucky, nearly always represents the birth parents. She represents clients in both independent adoptions and in agency placements.
Carolyn received her J.D. degree from the University of Louisville in 1983 and began a general practice. However, for more than fifteen years she has limited her practice exclusively to adoption work, and works for Adoption Bridges of Kentucky, a private non-profit adoption agency.
Carolyn is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and has been active in that organization for ten years, having held several positions in it. She is also active in Kentucky adoption issues and has presented programs for both attorneys and lay persons on adoption, the problems and the resolutions.
