Welcome to the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys (AAARTA).  Created as a specialty division of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (AAAA) in May 2009, AAARTA is a credentialed, professional organization dedicated to the advancement of best legal practices in the area of assisted reproduction and to the protection of the interests of all parties, including the children, involved in assisted reproductive technology matters.  The AAARTA website, www.aaarta.org, contains additional information about the organization and referrals to a qualified attorney are readily available via the AAARTA Online Member Directory.

AAARTA is now accepting applications for membership in three categories: Regular, Judicial and Honorary.  The application materials are available to be downloaded from the bottom of this page and are self-explanatory.  Current AAAA Members should use the application and grid in the Member Area.  Anyone interested in applying for membership in AAARTA should complete the materials and send them as indicated in the directions for submission. The application fee must be included for applicants to Regular membership; however, the application fee is waived for Judicial and Honorary applicants.  Applications are subject to careful evaluation and review, and invitations to membership will be extended only after a due diligence investigation and approval by the AAAA Board of Trustees.
